About the Game

The Hope of  Mÿarnn is a top-down narrative game where you convince the people of a fragile island to join your cause and stand together against a mysterious, unstoppable threat.

You play as Ilzaarch, an Oracle of Khronos who awakens from a prophetic dream to find that the nightmare his ancestors warned about is finally arriving. As you explore the island of Mÿarnn and its four distinct biomes, you will uncover the past of its civilisations and make choices that determine their survival.

The game focuses on:

Narrative, sound design, and art direction

 Exploration of a whole island

 Emotional and story progression across repeated loops

Features

- Narrative focus : The further you go through the loops, the more you’ll understand the story, the factions, and their secrets.

- Persuasion and alliances : Convince different people to work together before the storm hits… or watch them fall apart.

 Controls

Keyboard & Mouse

- WASD (ZQSD) : Move  

- E : Interact / Confirm  

- Tab : Inventory  

- Esc : Menu  

- Shift : Sprint

- Ctrl : Look at the storm

- Use mouse or W/S (Z/S) and A/D (Q/D) to navigate through the UI

Controller

- Left stick : Move  

- Bottom face button : Interact / Confirm  

- Right face button : Inventory  

- Top face button : Menu  

- Triggers : Sprint

- Press Left Thumbstick : Look at the storm

- Navigate UIs with:

  - Left stick (vertical) or D-pad up/down for vertical movement  

  - Shoulder buttons for horizontal navigation
